Youth baseball has been played in Foster City since the 1960's, and FCLL has been a part of the community since its incorporation in 1966. It is the oldest sports organization in Foster City.
Games were originally played near the intersection of Hillsdale and Shell Boulevards, adjacent to the current Library complex. Activities moved to Sea Cloud Park upon its completion and build out in September 1985.
In 2003, FCLL added girls fastpitch softball to its program, with two divisions of play. The program grew rapidly, and served as the foundation for the Foster City Youth Softball Association, which now features local softball for girls of age 5 -14.
The fcll.org web site went live on May 14, 1998, making Foster City one of the first Little Leagues in the nation to host a local site. Since then, archives have been compiled which contain records dating back to 2001. In addition, Archives for 2000 are being incrementally added as their manual processing can be completed.
Team information for the current season is available directly from the Home Page.
