FCLL fielded four Baseball All-Star teams and two Softball All-Star teams this year. Team rosters and tournament schedules are available via the buttons at left.
The 2006 All-Star teams are as follows:
11/12 yr. old Baseball District Team – Competes in double elimination District tournament. This team can advance to Sectional, Regional and Little League World Series competition. In the past this team has been mainly made up of 12 yr. old players, but 11 yr. olds are eligible. This team will need to win a double elimination tournament at each level to advance to the next level. The District tournament will be hosted by Palo Alto, starts June 30th and ends July 17th.
9/10 yr. old Baseball District Team – Competes in double elimination district tournament. This team can advance to Sectional, and Northern California State tournaments. The 9/10 yr. old team is usually made up of 10 yr. olds from the Majors division. Teams must win a double elimination tournament at each level to advance to the next. There is no World Series (or National Tournament) at this level. The District tournament will be hosted by San Mateo National, starts June 30th and ends July 17th.
Majors Baseball Superbowl Team – Competes in 1 local single elimination tournament against other area Little League Majors players. In the past this team has been made up of 11 and 12 yr. olds. This team may also compete in one additional Little League rules tournament in the region. The Majors Superbowl tournament will be hosted by Foster City and will be held June 24 thru 27.
AAA Baseball Superbowl Team - Competes in 1 local single elimination tournament against other Little League AAA players. This team is not age specific, but players cannot be in the LL Majors Division. The AAA Superbowl tournament will be hosted by Hillsborough and will be held June 24 thru 27.
11/12 yr. old Softball District Team – Competes in double elimination District tournament. This team can advance to Sectional, Regional and Little League World Series competition. In the past this team has been made up of a strong mix of 12 and 11 yr. olds. This team will need to win a double elimination tournament at each level to advance to the next level.
9/10 yr. old Softball District Team – Competes in double elimination district tournament. This team can advance to Sectional, and Northern California State tournaments. The 9/10 yr. old team is usually made up of 10 yr. olds from the Majors division and some 9/10 year olds from the Minors division. Teams must win a double elimination tournament at each level to advance to the next. There is no World Series (or National Tournament) at this level.
